WIP Robogear Locust
Posted by Borg R3-MC0 on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 11:15 AM

Here are some WIP pics of the RoboGear, the Locus mech.
This is not the first Robogear kit have build ( /forums/p/136691/1412459.aspx#1412459 )

And this one is the same, fit is reasonably ok, details are a bit rough/heavy handed. Here some pics of the partly assembeled Locust, ready for primer (who though that red was a good color plastic?)

That's looking really good.  I also like what you did with the other one in the link.

I never heard of this line of kits before.  I might have to check it out and grab a few myself.

My Robogear is a Heller boxing but they where also sold by Airfix.  I believe they made in Russia.... As said, the details are a bit heavy but they build nice and easy. And often can be found quite cheap.
They are part of a game system and have working features such a rocket launchers.

Here is my progress for now, everything is primed with grey acrylic primer.
