de_nopal.
I have spoken for years with peole like you and your song never changes.
You are just as judgemental, how do YOU know that Bandai/B-Club has no desire to produce those Kits, by buying illegal goods you are taking that option away from them.
I see 4 kits of the EX-S Gundam being offered, nothing in resin yet but I am 100% sure that they would do if they get enough requests for them.
Copying an original design/image without permission of the owner of them and no fees going back to the owner is still PIRATING and ILLEGAL and G-Sys only gets away with it because they are Hong Kong based(yep, got all their contact details by now).
If you don't know what that means I feel sorry for you, which I think is the case hence your comment about official distributors for them in the states.
You can justify your action in your mind as much as you want, it doesn't change the facts that the goods are pirated and you by buying/supporting them are helping them in their criminal activites and comitting some yourself(Check the US laws about buying those goods). Keep making excuses for your actions but don't expect other people to buy into them or be blinded by a smoke screen.
If you read through the forums and the links I supplied you will find quiet a few examples of what those companies like G-Sys can and do to the Industries worldwide.
Where is Horizon, Geometric, Screamin, Fewture these days??
Where are new kits by P-Unit, Kaiyodo, TECT, etc??
Volks stopped producing 1/8 Scopedogs, 1/24 Patlabor Kits and so on because of people like G-Sys.
The ONLY reason why Bandai/B-Club(same company) can still produce Gundam kits is because they got other incomes from their toy-lines and similar, as a pure Hobby company they would have gone bust long ago.
And finally some of the kits that G-SYS sells are NOT even their own creation but recasts from Event Only Gundam Kits and Limited Issue Kits. That includes some of their larger scale Kits like the 1/35 stuff and similar.
Did you know that Bandai also HAS an official distributor in the USA, small insignifcant Company called MATTEL., they signed an agreement to sell each others stuff.
Like I said keep living in your little dream-world believing that you can't do wrong many did and got a rude wakeup call when the kits/designs from japan started to dry up.
If you can't get hold of a released Kit on your side of the pond try ordering it directly from japan.
Nuff said and I will no longer respond to you.
