Dr. Shrinker,

That is amazing work!  The first picture looked like one of those "Hong Kong over-the-top junk builds", but with the primer on, it looks fabulous!  All of the parts look well integrated into the overall design.  It has a kind of steam punk vibe to it.  I definitely look forward to seeing it with a coat of paint!

Kugai

Great job on that. The details are great!

But I gotta ask, how many mechs died for that puppy?  I think I see some Patlabor parts in there, but I can't ID any others.

Thanks.

ha, well i am not sure. About a year ago i bought a big box of used and abused Gundam/anime models off ebay. Since it was mostly "feddie" type Gundams i didnt bother to try and rebuild them. (i did rebuild the lonely Zeon Z'Gok though) There were some Patlabor kits in there as well as one from something called Zoids. I dont really like feddie type gundams (although a big fan of Zeon designs) so i finally tried a kitbash with all the parts.

Initially hard to see what it'll look like from the first photo, but once you started priming and adding paint it comes to life and looks great!

A work in progress. This is my first attempt at a kit bash. It has reached a point where i can paint it. Ive never painted anything that is mostly put together so it should be an interesting endeavor. I'll probably build a small dio for it. maybe 1/72 scale. It looks a little clumsy at the moment, it is held together with rubber bands.
