1/87 Star Wars, why not?

Yeah I put my love of HO modeling into my sci-fi world, decided to start building up a collection of SW. There's a decent amount of kits to this with along with other toys since I had to do a ton of research referencing model sizes based off of little info online.

Here's a list of the ships/crafts used:

Revell Falcon - thinned out, some small detail work done, MPC Y-wing, Action Fleet X-wing - chopped and thinned a bit, MPC Shuttle Tydirium, Action Fleet AT-ST, Titanium Snowspeeder, Figures are micro machine and some random HO figures

Hope you enjoy some random pics:

Nice work. I was happy when Fine Molds began the 1/72 scale line of Star Wars models. I wish I had grabbed their Falcon when it came out. It now goes for triple what it retailed for. Having good kits in a constant scale has always been my goal.

I avoided the FM kits due to price. After building two FM TIEs on commision,I reversed my opinion.Best kits I've ever worked with.Well worth the money.Ditto on the Falcon.

I pre-ordered the X-Wings from Hobby Link Japan when they first came out. I ended up paying $34 for two kits delivered. The retail price for them stateside was like $45 a piece. Then I picked up the Slave 1 kits from target.com for a song when they were on clearance.
