Polar Lights 1/350 Enterprise - were there 2 different decals offered?

when I got my Polar Lights kit years back I opened it up to check it out, probably storing the decals in a safe place. Now I have no idea where that safe place is.

Cult TV has a set of the basic livery decals for $10 and there is a complete Aztec set for $50 from another site. I have no memory of seeing the Aztec set. Were there two issues of the kit with different decals?

I've been opening every box and cabinet I can find looking for the decal sheets - would help to know what I was looking for. thx - Craig

were there 2 issues of the kit - one with the basic livery decals and another later one with all the Aztec sheets?

The TOS Enterprise or the TMP Enterprise? I believe the movie Enterprise came with both NCC-1701 and NCC-1701-A markings as well as optional parts for the minor differences.

The last issue of the kit included a set of decals that added the aztec pattern to the entire hull.  Reviews are mixed as to the results- but there are some pretty impressive looking kits built using them.  If you plan to reproduce the paint scheme from the original film, painting is the only way to accurately reproduce the iridescence shades.

The first issues of the kit include all basic markings correct for either the 1701 or 1701-A versions.

Hi dude, I bought the original release of the 1/350 Enterprise, this kit only had the decal sheet with markings for either the refit and the A version. The second release had the full hull decal sheets.

As stated, I have the early version so I bought the full decal sheets from Starship Modeller web site, worked at roughly £35 shipped from the USA to the UK. This set includes the hull decals and a sheet of alternate markings for other Constitution class ships. I suspect it has the engineering and navicational deflector decals for both the refit and A version of the great ship.
