Rob Gronovius

She makes an appearance as herself in an episode of the web show 'The Guild' at the end of last season.

That Dropship could probably be flipped on eBay for some good money if it isn't too expensive at the store.

Might have considered it at one time, but eBay has gotten less and less fun, and more and more unfriendly to sellers over the years. I had 500+ feedback, but haven't sold anything there in several years now.

I think I will leave the Dropship as a 'treasure' for someonoe else to find for now, and go back to thinking about that bodysuit Devil!

The Buck Rodgers Draconian Maruader fighter (big pinkish orange ship) was already claimed by my 7 yr old and already needs additional repair. Anyone remember that 1980s TV show with Gil Gerad and Erin Grey?

I most certainly remember Erin Gray...something about a white bodysuit Big Smile

My LHS still has a Halcyon Aliens Dropship on the shelf forever that no one has grabbed yet....probably over 15 years....

The Dougram kit for thw helicopter was pretty easily found when I found mine on evilBay a few years ago.  The big catch for me is that I don't want to do the desert camo and haven't figured a good paint scheme for it yet.

All the Japanese mecha kits were the Revell Robotech Defenders and Robotech Changers reboxed and released in the mid 80s. The sideways looking Chinook helicopter was from that series as well and carried a 1/72 scale robot by the shoulders.

Yes, that TIE fighter is an Estes rocket that used to be the only straight TIE fighter available in kit form. That rocket has had some air time, but not in around 30 years give or take.

There's the bottom half to an MPC snow speeder that I started when the kit was released sometime after The Empire Strikes Back (argueably the best Star Wars movie) hit theaters in the late 80s. Never did finish it. If I could scrape up the missing pieces, I would try and finish it.

Maximillan (tall red robot) is from the Disney movie "The Black Hole". I had all three of the model kits from the movie which consisted of the Cygnus (only a few bits left of it and the instructions), Maxillian (complete kit, even with base and optional position claws), and V.I.N.Cent the R2-D2 wannabe. I didn't find Vincent in this box, but he may be in another. I'll keep looking. Max looks like a little glue, seam sanding and a paint job (he's unpainted) and he'll be good to go.

There's an old Lindberg UFO flying saucer that was molded in glow in the dark plastic. It's been reissued a few times by Glencoe and others. I hand painted it Pactra (remember them) gun metal (I think the color was).

I will try to restore/rebuild the ones that look like they can be saved. I'm anxious to see if I have all the bits and pieces to the big Dougram walker/Robotech Commando. What a beast that thing is!

Some interesting finds there Rob. The white and red little guy behind Maximillian is an Orguss Orgroid, There's a gun pod from a Macross Valkyrie between the front feet of the big walker thing (Dougram Abitate remarketed by Revell as a Robotech Defender Commando) on the left. Big Smile

Ah, Max.  I can't say I have many fond memories of building that model as a kid.  What a pain in the &%$# that was to build.

Is that tie fighter in the background a rocket?

You can find me on Photobucket under Warmuncher

So are you going to try to refurbish them?

While looking for my Halcyon Aliens kits, I dug out this old box of sci-fi kits from the 1970s and 1980s. Lots of memories in this pile.
