dr.S. I bought the same queen kit. i know what you mean. the legs brake easy. and does not free stand. part the reason it would fall ova and brake. the kit pic shows a metal rod in the middle for a stand. i was dissapointed with the scale and i just like the huge head in the movie which it didnt represent very wel imo.
I always buy online international. only find china sketchy sometimes. with paypal u never have a problem but. thanks for the comments. Again maybe confusion from my first post but I think resin is very hard to work with but not vinly.

I bought the alien queen from what is probably the same guy in Thailand. No problems with the purchase what so ever. I will say it turned me off from resin kits for a while though. It was very fragile. It seemed to break every time i touched the damn thing. The tail in my opinion was molded upside down. This one was a re-pop of the old halcyon kit.

However, i do not regret the purchase, and in the long run i think it turned out pretty well.

Nice work, I think I know who the maker/seller from Bangkok, Thailand is on eBay and I've wanted to buy from him but always worried about international scams or ID theft. So, if you've safely purchased this kit from far overseas and not gotten your accounts scooped clean, I might try and buy from him. I dig the Aliens series but kits are so hard to find these days.

Good job!

Very nice results. These vinyl kits can be troublesome. I've built the 1/4 scale Tusken Raider from Screamin models. Pretty easy kit for my first one. I had problems with cutting and piecing it together. Ended up taking remnant cloth to replace the outer cloak which covered the large gaps, but I think it improved the look of the model. I am currently working on the AMT Rancor kit which so far is going together quite well.

I'm glad to hear it is working well for you.  The kits that I have here are not very well made,  Lots of flash needs to be trimmed off, and then the parts do not fit well.  I have had to use lots of putty to fix it up.  But I have managed to get decent results, after a lot of work.

Sorry this kit is not vinyl resin, just vinyl. However some of the kits have resin parts included also for fine detail parts.

I found a couple of sellers on Ebay selling the same kits, my kits came from a seller in Thailand, but im not sure who sculpted them.

I found the vinyl easy to work with and fitment very good. The figures go together like dolls, so a lot of the limbs 'clip' into the sockets. This allows the limbs to be moveable. I use CA glue and any big gaps fill easy with hobby putty. A sharp box cutter slices through the vinyl very easy. Ive never had to heat it, unless i wanted a different pose, setting it in cold water. I think they are very cheap for the size / scale.

Im working on a Predator at the moment, i should have it finished and posted today.

I have built resin kits and vinyl kits, but never heard of vinyl resin.   Anyhow, vinyl kits are very difficult material to work with and usually ill-fitting.  You have to heat the stuff to soften it so you can cut it.  Case in point- I am working on my second vinyl kit, one of the vintage Star Trek character figures from AMT.  I'm not sure I care to build the third one!

beauty, but i dont believe it's a repop of an old Halcyon kit. I still like it, and it would be from Aliens, one of the 'warriors' . Good stuff.

yep 1/6th. I also built and painted the hellraiser pin head. gave it to my bro as he loves the movie. The seller has some really good 80,s charaters like robocop and terminator 1:1 heads. he has indi jones and even harrison ford in bladerunner. freddy and jason, starwars, preditor the list goes on. very easy to cut out the parts and glue and fill. detail is excellent.

Nice Alien, as for scale between 1/6th and 1/8th, can't remember the original producer but it's probably Halcyon, as they done most of the kits including the ultra rare Nostromo.

Not sure what scale, these kits are a vinyl resin  kit from a maker in Bangkok Thailand. search Ebay.
