MrSquid2U Cool! Such an iconic ship from TOS. This one is big enough to get past the 'toyishness' of the 1/1000 plastic kit as well. Gonna light it?

Thanks. No, no lights in this one, as the original filming miniatures were also not lit.
It's almost done, gang, so I should have final photos within the next few days. Woo-hoo!

I'll be watching too as you have fun!
What a cool project. I wish I had room for studio scale.
Awesome Mark! Always love your work.
Was thinking in the first two photos with half the hull missing that's what she looked like after Kirk and the Enterprise got a hold of her...

Thanks. Yes, it is all resin. The included stand parts (not shown) are laser-cut acrylic.
Never heard of this one. I almost bought the Capt Cardboard one a few years back.
Is it resin?
Nice job so far, I'll be following this build also!
Very cool!
I'll be watching....Good luck...:)
I'll have to keep an eye on this one.
Greetings again-As if I really needed ANOTHER project… here is a studio-scale Klingon D7 resin kit, made by Custom Replicas. This 1:300 scale model is approximately 29" long, and was made from a 3D scan of one of the original filming miniatures from the TV series. It is basically an exact reproduction of the actual filming miniature.
