Agreed about the semigloss on the figure's clothing.  I built the vintage AMT Kirk and Scotty models (vinyl) and left the boots glossy and the rest of the clothing flat, but it didn't look right.  So I masked the boots to keep them glossy and sprayed the rest of them with semi-gloss and it looks good.

If I had designed that kit, though, I would have come up with some critter or peril other than the 3 headed snake.  It just calls too much attention to itself and becomes the focal point of the piece.  Just my 2 cent's worth.  Nice job in any event!

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...

 I can see some seams

The only way to avoid that would be to rescribe, and the detail is too much for me to bother with.

and you might want to hit the whole thing with a coat of matte/flat varnish.

the idea is contrast on the finish, if you notice the base is matt, but the plants (as often seen in nature) gleem as if they are wet, the snake skin is NEVER matt, snakes always have a gleem, and the spock figure was dulled down with semi gloss, the TV show uniform like most clothes has a certain shine to it.

 Still fantastic job there- congrads!

Thanks.

Hey nice work there! Funny, I haven't seen many of these built up. Love the how Spock's holding the communicator there kinda like- 'if the phasor doesn't work beam me the @#$#$ outta here!'

Superb paint job but if I may nitpick I can see some seams and you might want to hit the whole thing with a coat of matte/flat varnish. Still fantastic job there- congrads!
