1/35 Big Joseph from Dust Models
Posted by Neb on Sunday, September 23, 2012 8:25 PM

Hi guys! Here's some pics of my Big Joseph from Dust Models. All resin, finished in Acryics----weathered with hairspray, Lacquer reduction, MIG pigments, black oil pinwash. Bare metal on the edges with the trusty old Faber-Castell Silver pencil.  I took a Gold with at Wonderfest 2012. Hope you guys like it.  Toast

This kit was a joy to build---superb resin castings with very little sanding. (mostly pour stubs) Very little mold release----cleaned up very well and took Mr Surfacer 1200 beautifully. A touch pricey, but a great value I think since it's so fun to build and use one's imagination. :)

Thanks Guney! I really like what you're doing with your Doomsday Drifter piece. Very creative!  :)

Really nice work there!!! Not sure if the prop would be powerful enough to move the vehicle but love the idea. Just great work on the the painting and weathering.

As I was building it I kept giggling, thinking to myself that the first time a round was fired she'd fall over backwards on her back! lol

Pure fantasy for sure----just a great kit to let your mind wander and be creative....  :)
