Looks nice, might get one for the sake of nostalgia but I'm a fan of the new BSG and have preordered my Pegasus from cult TV man already, just waiting for him to mail me and tell me it's ready for shipping.
I feel like cartman waiting on the release of the Wii.

I meant they haven't marketed the new Vipers, or Galactica in the US, Moebius still sells them here.  It's the same tooling anyways.

Yes, Revell has marketed the original Viper in the USA.  I have one right now in a Revell box with a copyright date of 2007.  I bought it at Hobby Lobby in 2009, in fact this is my second one, I bought one of the same in about 2008 at HL and built it for my son.  The second one is for me.  HL sticker price in 2009 was $24.95, same as the Mobius version from CultTVMan.

And I agree- the original series was the best!  Never got interested in the "new" series.

I've gotten things from him as well.  He's very reliable, and unlike other sellers that require you to pay up front to reserve a kit, you don't pay a penny until it's in and ready to ship.  I wish more sellers were like him.

Cadet Chuck

CultTVMan is an honest merchant.  I have been ordering from him for years.  Only one problem, I received a kit with a missing part.  He replaced it with a new one and even paid the return postage.  And shipping is super fast for any item in stock.

I think Revell is only putting them out in Europe.  I have never seen them as Revell kits on our side of the Pond.  Same kit really, but Moebius charges way too much for their kits.  So I would also like Revell to take them on as well.

From what I've heard they are doing the orginal Cylon raider as well as the Galactica.

I'd be tempted to wait and see if Revell buy the moulds from Moedius like they have with the MKII and new Cylon raider and drop the price by 50% (would have loved to be in the Moebius office when they saw that!)

I didn't like the new series.  I liked the old one better.  Yes, it was campy, and the last 6 or so episodes reeked, but it was a lot more fun to watch.  I remember when the original Raider first came out.  The guy who owned our LHS had set one aside because he knew I would love it.  He was right.  And a few weeks later, they released the Viper, and he also set one of those aside for me.  This was a good six or seven months before the original series first aired.  I just loved both kits.  I eventually had about a dozen of each.  I had two Cylon Basestars, and 2 Galactica, one I did as the Atlantia.  Awesome kits for a kids early builds.  Watch the first series though..  Very different, and the Galactica isn't a bucket of old bolts, with half her hull plates missing.

That looks cool! I just finished watching the new BSG series and absolutely loved it. Been contemplating buying the MkII.

Ahh, thanks for that heads up!! Will hold off on buying and see what happens. So Revell now owns and has release the Moebius MkII Viper?

Moebius Re-Do of the classic BG Viper.

Hi folks.  I don't get in to the scifi area a lot, but I thought some of you might like to know that I ran across a couple of prerelease beta pics of the Classic (Mk.I) Colonial Viper that Moebius is coming out with.  It looks like the older Monogram/Revell kits, but with quite a bit more detail, and it looks to have landing gear (Frakkin finally...)  There is a seller I have bought from before who is on eBay and has an online store of their own.  This seller is taking pre-orders on their site.  Here is a link to the pre-order page on their site.

And here's a link to some images of the pre-release mock up.

I just put in my pre-order.  Now when the retooled original classic Galactica kit comes out, I will really be excited.. lol
