MMF, can you give me the addresses of the companies you mentioned?
Thanks for the tips, Dan

Head over to www.hlj.com and check the listings for those 2 companies.

Both of them make many accesories for Gundam/Sci-fi Kits, there are a few more but those & B-Club(VERY pricey) tend to be the best.
I also got the "WAVE Option system guide Book", which gives some great ideas on how to use their options systems to do things like Airplane display stands, hydraulic hinges, etc. I can always provide scans/pics if you get stuck.

If you need any tips or ideas feel free to ask away, one of my interests used to be scratchbuild Models (Sc-Fi) and I m also pretty well versed on modeling for SFX and Movie models.

Need to get back into it after my upcoming move.

Looks like a great build in the making boybuddho! What did it start out as may I ask? I have never attempted kitbashing/scratch building me a fighter before. Maybe when Hobby Lobby has another 1/2 off sale!

Looking good so far.

How are you going to do the landing gear??
And will you make changes to the cockpit area??

If you want small SF detail up parts have a look at what Kotokubiya, Wave and similar companies have to offer. You might like some of their stuff.
