I'm not sure what scale either are but if the hatches on the Falcon look about the same size as the X-Wing pilot they should be pretty close I'd think.

I've built the old Millennium Falcon kit. I put a extra 1/72 scale figure in the cockpit along with a couple of figures that came with the kit.

Sounds like a great build, going to be Big. Looking forward to seeing some pictures.
