Sweet build!  MaK is underrepresented here at FineScale.  Though I'm guilty of not posting, I have a Raptor that I built in the fall.  I'm going to use it in a diorama with a couple other suits and figures.

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.

To cross over from another thread, it looks like it would be vulnerable to infantry attack.  Lots of stuff (I assume important to keeping the walker running) on the outside that looks like it wouldn't stand up to heavy weapons fire or small explosive charges.  Even the idea of operating in pairs, with only the one offensive weapon, they wouldn't be able to engage infantry on their wingman. If that mini-gun isn't capable of taking out another walker, it isn't much use.  And there doesn't appear to be any smaller secondary weapons.

The version in use in the Americas included a standard hull polarization system. In effect, it becomes electrified when approached by mammals within a certain radius. Certain animal rights groups have condemned this defensive system because of the potential harm that could befall stray dogs that might attempt to "mark their territories" on the Krote's legs. There are unsubstantiated reports of dogs that were accidentally neutered when they lifted their leg at Krotes.

2000 HMMMMM.... That sounds about right ! I want them painted in U-boat splinter camo.

No unit markings........ I don't want the IRS to know where they came from !!!

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Count all the rivets you want to because I don't know where the rivets are.

Let's see the minimum order is 100.....multiplied by 20........that makes 2000 units all together.  For orders of divsion size and over we offer free unit markings and and paint scheme application.

How do the units stand up to a squad of "rivet " counters ?

Is there a Prototype decal launcher ?

I'll take 20 !

In the sci-fi world it is hard to tell what is a secondary weapon.  The Krote is a unmanned weapon/recon system that is about twice the size of the infantry it will face.  At this scale the weapon would be a rather large calibre.  Speed, firepower, threat detection, and electronic counter measure capablities make the Krote a potent weapon against anything it might face on the battlefield.

Minimum order is 100 units.

How many can I put down for?

The three color camo would have been incorrect on this model. That scheme was only used in the European theater. Your kit depicts one in use in the former United States.

Wink Well it's a good thing I didn't do a three color camo on this one.

Those are tongue in cheek replies. Many military modelers often critique one another on whether or not they are using the correct color.

It is a joke, although sadly not such a good one when you have to spell it out.

DUSTER

Great job on the ground and the sign.

Though you did a masterful job on the  KROTE;

you do realize that the correct color for the teeth  is not Galactic Federation Spec. # 7536ZZ .  But is instead  Galactic Federation Spec. # 7536ZZX1

This is a common mistake as the light of the open western sky is 3.000078% greener than the  sky found in your area.

If you need more data in this regard please contact your local  Strahl Military Police Battalion and ask for the Local Indigenous Personnel Officer. That Officer will give you what you need and deserve.

That color differential is only vaild south of the equator, and not north. Since his kit is depicted somewhere around the former Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, he should be fine with that color.

Thanks guys!!

The red button makes the gun rotate.

The sign is made from a soda can with sign image out of paper attached to it.  Just google road signs and you can get all kinds.

That's pretty cool. I love your highway sign. How did you make that?

This is a 1/20 scale KROTE by NITTO.  A really neat kit lots of details with room for more.  Here are some pic's what you think.
