Yeah, nice work!  I've got the 1/48 Fine Molds X-wing and I'm waiting 'till I'm just a little bit better to build it.

Sweet job. Love the weathering and panel detail! Makes me want to dig a little deeper to find mine that I built back in late 70s. It hasn't seen the light of day for probably 15 yrs and desperately needs a facelift. Yours is inspiring.

Bill.

On the bench:  Lindberg 1/32 scale 1934 Ford Coupe and a few rescue projects.

In queue:  Tamiya 1/35 Quad Tractor or a scratch build project.

That looks good. Good definition on the detail and panel lines.

Jim

Current project(s): Hobby Boss: 1/72 F9F-2 Panther

Fortunately, the Revell kit is much better and relatively inexpensive. I believe it was $20 (before the Hobby Lobby 40% off coupon) when I bought one for my son.

Chris, that is some pretty sharp looking weathering!  Great job on the X-wing!

Thanks guys. I got the kit at a squadron sale, about $8 including shipping and handling. I noticed it had all that wonderful detail, far more then you would expect from a cheap snap kit so I dirtied her up a tad to show it.
