Sorry about that, no ignoring on my part was intended.

I was disappointed to see that you were talking about leaving, but with logging on here about once a week or every 2 weeks, I figured that you were already gone by the time I found out.

As for your return, I'm glad to see it and want to say "welcome back!" with this first chance in a while I've had to log on.

Let me get this straight; a few weeks ago you announce you are leaving the site. OK, people leave for all sorts of reasons. No big deal.

They you "announce" in the same goodbye thread that you are back? Most people who would have welcomed you back think it is an extension of other members wishing you a fond farewell.

Dude, I deployed to another continent for a year. never told anyone here, wasn't able to post nearly at all and was not able to even visit the site more than a couple times a month. No big deal.

I moved every two to three years for a quarter century. Of course, I end up going off line from the time I leave one post and arrive at the other, obtain housing, cable, internet, etc. which can be as short as a week or as long as a month. No big deal.

You leave for a few weeks and are sad no one notices you are gone?

Sometimes I don't get any response's to some of my posts.  it's just one of those things that happens online.
