But I doubt that those Kits can be found outside of Japan, the limited Kit I think they did something like 60 off.

by the way I mean't to ask you earlier but The Appleseed movie , is that going to be dubbed in english and released here as well or is it Japan exclusive at first ?

Haven't heard anything yet, but basscially anything go. Initially I think it will be Japan only, after that it might be released as english Video or go directly to a oversea cable/satelite company doubt that it will hit the Cineams in a big way.

Look at how limited the Studio Gibhli Movies were, which were released by Disney.

which one are you looking for , my local HS has several 1/24 kits

The Kit was produced by Reds Inc. some time ago and was a VF-1S, there was also another limited kit out some time later.
The Limited issue Kit I think sold for $650.00 Big Smile [:D]

caseyn5.

Most of the Plastic Kits are quiet old by now (15yrs) and show it in detail and quality.
They were designed for young Anime fans and thus are not that difficult to assemble and paint, some even are transformable as in the Anime(using metal parts).
The old bandai and similar kits are very basic when it comes to certain details, etc.
Alot of the Kits are OOP and seem to be destined to stay that way (Regults and other Zentraedi/opposition mecha).

If you want accuracy and detail than you have to look either at Hasegawa or the Resin kit offerings like Studio Halfeye and similar.

BTW, still trying to get hold of a copy of the 1/24 Resin Valkyrie in Fighter Mode, onle seen 3 so far and lacked the funds.

The Plastic Kits tend to get re-issued every year or so as for the resin kits those are usually once of stuff.

Macross?

Ok I know nothing about sci fi models in general except star wars, I just build cars, but the other day while i was on ebay I was looking at the Macross kits up for auction and they really seem cool. the thing is I know nothing about the subject. it would probably take forever for one to explain the background of macross, so i was curious to know if there were any sites that someone could direct me to, so I can learn about them. Also, what are these kits like to build as in difficulty and what not. if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated, thanks.
