Revell's Dune kits
Posted by J-Hulk on Monday, March 17, 2003 1:34 AM
Hi folks.
I recently found the Ornithopter kit from Revell's Dune series, and was wondering what else they had made. Anybody know?
The box shows a sandworm and the little sandcrawler buggy-looking thing. No spice factory? That was the coolest thing!
Any info would be appreciated.

I think it was just those three kits. The Harkonen orinithopter was the best of all of them, I think.

Thanks!
The ornithopter was a Harkonnen machine? Thought it was Atreides. Ah, must have been left on Arakkis after the Harkonnen skeedaddled. Better re-read the books!
Have you built this kit, Aurora-7? I haven't opened the box in quite a while, but what scale do you think it is? 1/48 or so? You never know in this genre.

I never built it but I've seen copies built. If I remeber right I think it's closer to 1/48 scale.
