Hasegawa Valkyries?
Posted by Kugai on Wednesday, February 25, 2004 7:51 AM
About a year and a half ago I was looking through a Hobby Japan that I'd bought ( No, I can't say "reading" because I can't read Japanese ). One of the articles was apparently from a model show that included previews of what some of the companies were going to release in the future. Among these were transformable Valkyries from Hasegawa.

The catch is, I haven't heard of or seen anything about these kits since. Does anyone out there know if Hasegawa has released or plans to release these kits?

The Kits are NOT transformable, but simply either fighter or battroid mode.

No sign yet of any Gerwalk models, Pilots and weapons are sold seperate.

In that case I would rather buy a Bandai (Transformable), Hasegawa kit, Hasegawa PE set and than super-detail the Bandai Kit using the Hasegawa Kit.

Kitbashing the Hasegawa kit would result in about 90% of the kit being thrown away.

MMF has a point. Given the huge differences between the old single-mode Valkyrie kits ( I think they were from Arii ) and BanDai's transformable kit, there would be a lot of parts left unused. Given the prices of the Hasegawa kits, I'll just settle for the single-mode kits for now and hope for a transformable kit from them for the 25th anniversary in 2006.

I'm not THAT much of a fanboy or that eager to make such an expensive addition to my spares box.
