too bad she crash landed while trying to make a new video. Just happy that the nacelle drive still works (even slightly better than before ;) ). Spend the weekend fixing the cracks as good as I could.

The primer came out very rough partialy. No smooth surface here and there. Since the model was already sealed there was no way to do it again. This is where the decals silver at the end. But ... the right camera at the right angle will hide that ;)

Concerning color ... I´ve tried to give it a little more of that blueish finish. Most of the time the model will be shown in dailylight and I never liked those build with ocean grey and whatnot as basecolor. I´ve tried to make my own version of "Deckhouse Blue".

Since Voyager looks just soo different in every episode I never longed for super accurate reflection

Ahh, I didn't notice! Honestly I hate painting anything white or light grey, since it simply won't cover anything - all the starships I did have some smudge or something somewhere on them.

Heck, after what she went though in the Delta Quadrant I won't worry that she looks a little banged up!

The silvering decal is not the only problem! Although I used decal softener alot!

The paint itself has a big problem, because something went wrong with the primer at first. And she got all sorts of bruises, because the nacelle effect came into play, as I´ve went along the build. Just like anything else on this Voyager. I nearly screwed everything numerous times, for e.g. just AFTER decal work I decided to fill all the windows with canopy glue.

This is my first attempt in model making. Besides the stuff I used to do as a kid ;)

I will be adding all sorts of images. Just wanted to say "Hello" ;) I will take better photos and do a video this weekend.

Wow, that's awesome! The mechanical parts must be really tiny to fit in there, I wish you'd posted some photos of the working parts since I'm curious about how you did it!

I hate to point out there is a little decal silvering but otherwise beautiful work on the paint and the lighting is fantastic!
