well thank you. this was my first ever scratch build.  the only things i used from any kit was the dish, 2 engines( front half) and a bridge dome

thanks,  I got the idea from the star fleet encyclopedia.  there was a 1 inch by 1.5 inch thumb nail drawing... that and about twenty sheets of styrene.
