yet another starship
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, April 25, 2014 11:18 PM

a few years ago, I started a starship, in 1000 scale. It is a tug, with three warp engines, and two under slung cargo pods.  let me know if anyone is interested in later posts

well kids,  the deal is off.  last night, my daughter and I had a fight, and as I slept,  she destroyed all 20 star ship models,  including the new one.  I just don't have the heart to do it any more.  good luck.

Sorry for your situation but if my kid did something THAT personal to me, they would come home from school to find a good chunk of their personal belongings had been generously donated to the Salvation Army.

Seriously kids need to clearly remember actions have repercussions.

She deliberately destroyed you ships and this is your fault?

That's some real chick-logic.

My sympathies dude.

well, that could happen,  or this. we separate, and my child will never have a father again.  that seems the best choice.  when i met my wife,  she was on the verge of killing her self.  in a month or two she will be there again, with no safety net to stop her this time.  but i guess that would be my fault too

dflu78, don't be so quick to pass judgement, you dont know the circumstances. Believe me I know from experience. When I was about his daughters age I began acting like a real jerk and one day mouthed off to my mother and she smacked he, did me a world of good. Put my head back on straight.

spare the rod, spoil the child. was never one to "spare the rod", If my children need discipline, then they got a whoopin'. It let them know who was in charge and what was acceptable behavior. never was stressed with destructive  kids. just saying.  good  luck

when i was 14 i pissed off my dad so bad he hit me. knocked me to the ground. first and only time he did that. no blood etc but i'm 62 and i still remember sitting on the ground thinking "boy i am never doing that again." and i never did and he never had to.

that being said all circumstances are unique and we really never know all the facts.

Theres more than two side to a penny. There's usually an unknown factor involved in these things and they tend to work themselves out sometimes for the good, sometimes….well not so good.

All the best to you and your family, but WHY the models???????
