I think I hear him saying: "oh my!". I like it, good job. Bob
Cheers guys, the kit is just a cheap one off Ebay, just a knock off I think, but other than some air bubbles it was a good kit for under 30 bucks.
I used Model Master metalizer sealer clear as final coat over Gunze Mr metallics
Very cool! I like it a lot! Now you need an R2-D2! Thanks for posting!

Great build, looks awesome, what kind of paints did you use? Any issues withy the vinyl reacting to your paints?
Very nice!!!! what kit is this? ...not an expert by any stretch of the imagination ,but could you maybe use a clear coat to add some shine to the gold?
Super job there Grant!
Alclad does make gold and brass paint which you could probably get a greater shine with but I think he looks just fine. Considering the 'used-in' look of the original SW movies C3P0 was generally a little scuffed-up and dirty as I remember.

Well done.
yes, I used Gunze mr metallics on him, although they are not the buffable ones, I tried some different things but to no avail, perhaps I should have gone with Alclad paint
ALL OF YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!
Hi everyone, I did this guy awhile back for a sig, my first vinyl figure since getting back into modelling, I was happy with the construction, the only thing that let me down was I could not get the shine effect on the gold I wanted, but he did not turn out to bad.
