Wow, those are awesome!!! I've seen the KV-II Walker on the MiG site but the Rook is new to me, really neat looking models and terrific work on the paint schemes and weathering. Love the base too!

IM Rook & MIG KV-2X Completed

Hi Everyone!

I finished this build a few weeks ago and thought some here might like to check it out.  I had a couple of resin kits and decided to do a side-by-side build of them, and then display them together on a diorama.  One of the kits is from Industria Mechanika (the futuristic one) and the other is from MIG Productions.

I hadn't really ever build a diorama base before, so I was winging it mostly, but it was built of foam on a plywood board, covered in a layer of sculpted wall spackle.  The rocks were cast from a mold meant for train set rocks, the guard rail built from scratch and I put together a DIY flocking tool to apply the grass.

If you'd like to see my build log or more photos, I keep a basic blog and finished model gallery on my web site here:  http://hello-napalm.com/models/walkingtanks.html

Hope you all enjoy the photos!
