Try eBay , I just saw one on there can't recall the price , I want to say 25.00 but ? other option is your local HS or a model shop online . I want one too but I have to much going on for it right now .

If you want the best one out there, go here: http://smt.theshoppe.com/dropship.html You will never find a better model of it anywhere. Also, they have the APC to go inside! I have seen a few of these at shows, and they are HUGE and GORGEOUS!!! Well worth it.

Thanks for the link bollod2. It's a little on the pricey side, but looks really nice. I'll keep it in mind though, because I really doubt I'll find the old injection moulded kit. Couldn't see it on e-bay either.

Halcion made injection kits of a range of models from Alien - look in ebay.co.uk. Should be easy enough to find.

zokissima,

Don't give up....the original HALCYON 1/72 scale DROP SHIP shows up on ebay all the time I have seen them go for as low as 30.00 but as high as 70.00.

It's a nice kit!
Straighten up and fly right.....

Yeah I saw one, but the price was too high. I guess I'll just have to keep looking. I wish I got it all those years ago. Damn :)

I've got one in my stash of unbuilt kits, and an APC & a power loader, plus the 1/8 scale vinyl Ailen.

I want one of each! I wonder if that firm plans to release any 1/48th figures to go along with the vehicles.

Thanks John.
I know what you mean Keyworth. I really would like one in 1/48. Maybe if a new Aliens is released, they'll start up again with the marketing gimmicks!

You can have on in 1/48 if you can spare $150 for the SMT resin kit. I have it, it's huge!

Thanks for the link. Personally I'm not really a huge fan of resin.
There's allways the option of scratchbuilding.
Anyone know of any good references??

The HALCYON Drop Ship was about $52.00 when it first came out years ago. My wife and I owned a hobby shop for about 3 1/2 years. It took a while to come in, but was worth it just to have it. I wasn't impressed with the detail (REALLY POOR), but the overall design was good. It's still the basement under construction -- mainly because I'm not done with the cocpit work yet. You know how it is -- you get too picky and too many things going on at one time. What I need is a job that pays me to stay at home and build models. If I find one -- I'll let everyone know about it.
