I won this kit on eBay. I had one many years ago (about 18-20). Does anyone know what series this mecha is really from and what it really is called?

The Mecha is from Mospeada, can't think of the exact name of the mecha right now.

It's from Orguss not Mospeada. I think it might be Ishkick, but I'm not 100%.

What did this thing do? It doesn't seem as "heroic" or deadly as some of those huge mechas.

Cool. Never seen that mech before. I have only seen a few Orgus eps and nearly all of Mospeada. Yep, thats a weird one. Thought I had seen all of the Robo Tech Defender kits. I guess not...Well its good to know there are other old kits out there that are new to me!lol

Anyone have a pic of the thing? I'd like to see it.

It's 'Ishforn' from Orguss. The following is the a link to a site (It's Japanese) with the original kit done in the Orguss colors:

Aurora, that's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. If that picture is as the kit is supposed to look, this Revell kit was done in pretty much the same scheme. Just that wing thing and the joints should be a brick red color.

Too bad I don't read Japanese. Do the pilots really have green hair?

It is not uncommon for Anime characters to have blue, green or any other coloured hair as well as blue skin, etc.

The Revell Kits are simply the original japanese Kits(many series and manufacturers) reboxed and sold under the generic name of "Robotech" similar with the TV-Series.
