And the latest model kit of the titular Gundam:

Have fun!  And if you treat the kits like any other plastic model, you will get outstanding results.  Don't let the snap-fit construction fool you, Bandai has it all sorted out unlike everyone else.

As Klik already mentioned, Bandai is the Gundam model mfg.

The kits I have are injection molded styrene plastic with poly vinyl joint inserts for reposing after assembly. I've built only one of my kits and I didn't need to repose after completion.

The fit is good and the 1/144 scale series is very affordable.

It depends on what you're looking for. Bandai is the only manufacturer of Gundam Model kits. They range in detail ( and price) from low grade, simple kits to high grade or even perfect grade.

Kits come in many scales, depending on the subject. Armor kits come in 1/35th, mobile suits range from 1/144 to 1/100, even 1/60 and 1/48 th!

check out models on sites such as hobby linc Japan.

I am anew armor modeler and avid anime watcher. I'm looking to try an build a gundum but would like to hear some first hand experiences with them, also what brand is the "dragon" of gundam kits? How does the build different from building something real? Thanks in advance.
