Revell tiny (1/280?) Falcon convert.

Hello modelers,

Started this build back in 2010, Bought it for 5 year old son but daddy was more impressed with it he did Smile

This Falcon was molded after the 5 foot Falcon in Star Wars "A new hope" but I have more affection for the 32' in "Return of the Jedi". So my plan is to add, correct and put as many details from the 32' Falcon on to this tiny hull. Hope you all like the transformation and please don't be hard on my English Big Smile

Box art. It's a picture of the 32' movie Falcon.

That is not the case because the model is a 5 foot Falcon.

Looks nice !Big Smile

And it appears more accurate ( thinner in appearance ) compared to the older and bigger MPC kit I bought many years ago in a galaxy far, far away..........Hmm

Thanks.

Replacing the gun turret because it's so flat, using the one on the lower hull solving this problem. Also made extra landing gear at the front applying the same method: kit bashing. Cutting out the rear of the donor Falcon.

More add-ons. Pipelines.

Sidewalls

Rear end.

Side by side comparison.

Wow, that's awesome!!! I'm assuming from the photos with your hand she's about 10-15cm or so long?

Yeah, this is OLD. However I'd like to see this come to an end too, and not just on another forum because this one is slowing dying from lack of member participation.

Maybe a picture of a squirrel playing a harmonica will make you feel better?

Hi, Chris!  Nice seeing you in Richmond again... time flys, I wasn't thinking November was *that* long ago.  Did you see YodaFett posting elsewhere on this project?
