Very cool!

For some reason your photos are posting as pretty small but if I click on them they come out larger. Really nice work you're putting in there.

Here's my 1st attempt at scratch building ever. I bought some Evergreen styrene odds & ends and scratch built Han's nav console chair. It's not completely screen accurate, but it will do.

In this pic you can see the bunk wall I made out of sheet styrene and apoxi sculpt greeblies. Not great looking, but from distance it does the job.

Jacks DeAgostini Millennium Falcon Build Diary

Well, I've been working on the Falcon for about 2 weeks now (I have issues 1-36 already). I'm a family man with a full-time job, so my building time is very limited. I'm at about 1 hour a night (if I'm lucky), which you'll know isn't much time at all, especially if you're doing a lot of detail painting.

I've decided to modify my Falcon using only what I can create myself (no Shapeways after market, photo-etch, or fiber optics). I mean, I'm already paying a ton for this thing as it is. Why spend more money than you really need to? Besides, the exterior is the most important part anyway since it is a prop replica.

I've spent the bulk of my time working on the cockpit and cargo hold so far. I'll try to post some pics.
