She measures close to 18 inches long and is in 1/132nd scale.

It's a solid cast kit with some metal parts and of course the clear bubbles.  The smaller clear ones are one of hte hardest parts.  They started out as eyes you can get from a craft store.  The hard part comes when you have to remove the black eyes from the center.  To do this I had to sand down the back of each one without collapsing the clear part.

The braces for hte propeller ring were made of metal but they were too soft and got damaged somewhere along the line.  I ended up using some plastic flat sided rods from Evergreen.  I measured them, cut a notch to hold the rine and made sure that I had enough to reach into the holes I drilled into the sub to give it a good hold and give it the look of a solid brace.

This is one of the most expensive kits I ever bought but I've wanted one for a long time and even more after I saw the studio model and the diving suits on display here at Disney World some yeas ago.

That's one grail kit down.

Wow, that's a beautiful job and a great representation of the film prop. What scale/size is she if I may ask?
