ikar01 I wouldn't think the Bajorians would go in for something like that, being a spiritual kind of people. The humans, Bolians, or some of the other races might though.

Yeah, that does sound right, plus a little hard to notice she's got a little crinkle on her nose...

Yeah, a couple of torpedo launchers under the wings should be pretty simple to build a and logical upgrade.
Nerys huh? I'm wondering now if you could add some Bajorian pin-up art to the nose.
Neat ideas. Something I may run with too. If I hadn't started to repair my in flight bird of prey I may have robbed that of it's guns. Still, thinking about it there is room under the wings for some pods. Photon torpedo launchers maybe. Certainly worth thinking about and a definite if I get another. As for paint schemes if anything I'd leave it as is but name it Nerys, maybe with a few kill markings.
Here's the original pic before modifying it.

One of the things I've thought about these is that since the Maquis weren't a professional military like Starfleet or the Cardassian Navy but guerilla fighters who used whatever they could get their hands on you could go wild here. Modifications with added 'greebies' for bigger guns or engines, different paint schemes etc- maybe even a shark mouth!
It's nice to see this kit finished. Every now and then I will see a Voyager and even less so a kazon but it's very rare to see one of these finished. I think this is the only ship I never bought and built.
If you aren't having fun, you're doing it wrong! Build to please yourself and they will flame you every time!

Cheers for the kind words. I have to admit this is one of my fave ships from Trek. The model I bought quite a few years ago from a clearence store for £5 (even then a bargain) and was completly brush painted using Humbrol enamels, done freehand with no masking. Doing the sjightly darker panels covering the hull took quite a long time.
Ohhhh nice work on a model you don't see very often!
I think it did pop up on DS9 a few times and in one of the last episodes of TNG.
Here's my rendition of the Maquis ship from Voyager. If I remember correctly it was only ever used in one episode. The original pic was set on my very messy workbench so I had a play with MS paint. Not finished the background yet but it's the model i want to show. Constructive critique always welcome.
