Thanks Baxster and Lufbery. I was pretty pleased with the outcome. The new owner is enjoying his Falcon. I'll start on my own very soon.

As for the blast marks they were done with pastel chalks. The one by the radar dish was done with no gouging of the plastic at all, unlike the big one on the cockpit side.

Give me a few days and I'll wirite up a little "How To" on my pastel blast marks, along with pictures.

That looks fantastic! I plan on getting the PE engine grills from Green Strawberry so the under-grill detail will be visible like on the studio 5 foot model.

How did you make the blast marks? I'd love to see a how-to on that.

I see that a lot of work was put into this and the end result is that it was worth it. It is very cool. Excellent work!

3D printed engine grills from 308bits on Shapeways.

A prominent blast mark that I forgot to add has been added.

Thanks Gamera. He is, although not with me though. I have a club meeting this weekend I'm taking it to. I told him he can have it next week!

Crap!!!!

Not finished yet. I forgot to glue on the 3D printed engine vents!!  LOL

Bandai Falcon finished!

Here is my completed Bandai Falcon. This was built for a friend of mine who has supplied me with a lot of Bandai SW kits direct from Japan. The kit is lighted and powered by a single 9v battery hidden in the rear. The base was made up of the two tiles from the X-Wing and two Vader Tie bases.
