That looks like a really nice kit. I can't wait to get my hands on some.

Well I have worked on my model this afternoon. I completed the cockpit and then I discovered that I forget to include a piece inside. I had to dissassemble the cockpit and reassemble it after.

Bish has a good plan.  Having built this kit, don't even bother painting the black on the solar panels.  The trim on the outside of the panels can be easily painted before installation.  This kit goes together really well.  Follow the directions, and it goes to together like a dream.  Enjoy.

I would assemble the bulk of the model, leaving out the blaqck solar panels. Paint the model then add the panels.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Hi. It's been a long time I have been on this forum. Today I started to model Bandai Star Wars Tie Fighter.

I would like to know if I should paint this model before assembling because it looks great but I dont have lot of experience in painting so I'm afraid to missed it. I'm waiting for your suggestions.
