My 1/48 Space 1999 Eagle 1 build
Posted by Jim Kirk on Thursday, March 23, 2017 7:42 AM

Here is my Space 1999 Eagle 1 build. I added "scale lighting" to the cockpit, per the miniature and painted it as seen in the first few episodes of the first season..I used a varity of methods for the panel shading, the base coat was applied with an Airbrush, I also weathered the model to scale.

That is very impressive - I always liked the Eagle and I think you've done a terrific job. I am amazed frankly by the cockpit, that's awesome. Overall very good effect with weathering and shading. Nice one!

Before he did it, I'd have said it couldn't be done.

Nicely done, and I don't even build sci-fi. Didn't know they had that in 1/48 either.
