So here is my idea for this project :

Mr. Payne is famous for doing different version of Star Trek models.  The first url is his design for the AMT UFO using parts from 1/1000 kits or after maket items.  The design is a classic.  So When UGG Models the second URL came out with the Enterprise Refit lost design they also came out with accessorys to update the 1/1000 PL kits.  So these engines are different they are first update according to reference material from the TOS and TMP version.  So my thoughts was to make this into either a maintaince ship or carrier for shuttlecraft and other supplies. For the maintaince ship the containers would be mounted on the bottom. I am looking at one for nacell repair. These are my inital thoughts.  What are your thoughts?

I remember when this kit first came out.  It even had a small lamanated record mounted of a piece of thin cardboard included.  I built my current effort as a hybrid involving a design you might see in Battlestar Galactica, trying to give it the impression that it was much larger than it really was.

I really do ned to take a couple more shots of it.

and maybe add a little more detail.

As far as carrying cargo pods externally, I would think that the cargo wouild be carried internally instead.  Maybe it couild tow a sled with a piece of oversized equipment, but that would cut down on its overall speed.
