Anybody remember.....
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, March 26, 2004 12:54 PM
an old TV series from the 70's called Space Academy? I seem to recall somewhere that there was a model kit of their Seeker Spacecraft. Has anyone seen one? I wouldn't mind someone updating that concept with a new series or kits.

Yeah I remember. Wasn't that a spin off of "Jason of Star Command"? Anyone remember the Ark II?

You know I'm a child of the 70's but I can't for the life of me remember that show , oh but I remember Galatica and Buck Rodgers which I know were late 70's and early 80's , maybe I was too busy playing with my Star Wars figures ????

If one could find the right bottle, it would be a pretty simple scratchbuild. Or even Ark II for that matter. Are there any good ref. pics out there for that?
Anybody remember the Landmaster from Damnation Alley. I think the same company made them. I used to see the Landmaster parked on a lot in the Cahuenga pass off the Hollywood freeway, along with a few other weird "air car" type things.

I think the other car you are talking about is one of those from the Logan's Run TV series. Here is a link to the Land Master from DA. http://users.snowcrest.net/fox/landmaster/

Woody, Im not sure if that other car in those pics was the one, but it was similar. And now that you mention it it probably was from the Logan's Run series. I haven't been over that way in a while so don't know if they're still there.

I have heard that they have modified the Logan's Run cars to be in many films and TV shows. The car you seen may have been one of these modified vehicles or another all together.
