3D printed this. It was a fun easy build.  Those ships still give me the creeps.

Oh wow! Awesome!

I used to have a resin one I built back when the show was on the air but my parents threw a bunch of Christmas packages down on it and broke it into a dozen pieces. I have a replacement kit but still haven't built it.

They were one of if not the most impressive and scary ship designs of SF TV and movies. SW's Sith and ST's Borg were never a tenth as frightning as the Shadows.

The sound effects were what made it!  screeching in your head sound.

Oh gosh yeah! I can hear them in my head now.

Oh by the way I was going to ask did you just paint her gloss black or did you try to get the look of the oil-like sheen on the surface (I'm not sure how to describe it)? I can't tell from the photo.

They had a sort of weblike texture that moved.  Back in the day I used to import B-5 models in to a game called Klingon academy.  I loved setting the specs high on the first ones and then blowing the crap out of the lesser races ships.  Vorlon vs Shadows was epic.  Thanks for sharing!
