Hands down, the best Star Wars kit Revell has made. You did a great job, I have put off building mine because of all the detail painting involved. You have done a great job!

I Love Star Wars. Great build. I am putting in work with cars and planes right now to get some good practice and learn some techniques. My main goal is to build a bunch of Star Wars and have a nice display like you do.

Hi Man!

The one with the wheels is the HAW6 Juggernaut or simply the Clone Turbo Tank!

I too wondered about the quality of these Revell models but you did a fantastic job on her. Beautiful, thanks for sharing her with us!

Agreed Tesoe, yet I'm still shaken when the classic Imperial Star Destroyer comes into view in a New Hope. The Rebels have cool thing but like almost all good/ bad guy stories the villans have the coolest toys.

Great build! I've got one of these sitting on my shelf I'm planning to build soon. The Venator is in my opinion the best looking star destroyer.

Well, none of the new ones, i.e. Force Awakens or Rouge One, are a part of the Lucas story, though there is some debate as to how many he actually planned on doing. But yes, you will get to see how Han and Chewie got together. I will be interested to see if they stick to the Expanded Universe version or come up with a new one.

There are supposed to be 3 stand alones. We have had Rouge One, next will be the Solo story, will be interested to see what the 3rd one will be. Could be Kylo Rens back story, who knows.

So yes, you can kep getting very excited for a few more years yet. With Ep IX in 2019, if they do go ahead with the 3rd stand alone, i would guess 2020 or 21 at latest. Though Ep IX release has been pushed back, it was due in May 19 but is now Dec, the original director dropped out in Sept so now Abrams is back to direct it.

I hope your right Bish, I really wanna know how Solo and Chewbacca came about. To answer your original question, I think I'm thinking that it is the last of George Lucas's series. I must say there are ALOT more questions I have as to who, what, why, and where in regards to the SW universe. I think the Kylo Rhen story should be addressed as well. So what your basically telling me is I get to be an excited 8yr old boy well into my 90s? Man you just became my new best friend Bish LOL.

Really nice job on that, i have avoided the Revell kits, but i like the look of that one.

And good to see another prequel fan, i to think they have a bad rap.

armor, why do you think Ep VIII will be the last. We have the Han Solo stand alone in May next year and Ep IX due in May 2019.

Your welcome and thank you for the info. I build a WIDE variety of subjects and the new Star Wars stuff is VERY TEMPTING. I too enjoyed the prequels as they really kinda tied the whole story together to the originals. The Force Awakens was good however Rouge One has to be by far IMHO The coolest visually and the best tie in to the storyline. Sad that The Last Jedi coming in December may be the last forever.

Thank you sir! That's extremely encouraging to hear! I appreciate the support! The manufacturer is Revell, the kit can be found on the StarShip Modeler site! Me too man I freaking LOVE Star Wars, especially the prequels which get a bad rap but really expanded the universe. Currently building and painting an Acclamator to go alongside it! I love the Republic's vehicles, hence the affilation of the models around it in the last pic haha

Slack not given, you sir have created a very convincing model. I think the detail you pulled out in painting is awesome. While lighting is all the rage today your model looks REALLY good. My question is who is the manufaturer. Man I LOVE Star Wars.

Republic Star Destroyer! Venator class

Hi all! I'm fairly new here but I've been admiring everyone's work for a while! Slack is needed and constructive criticism welcome! I used to build a lot as a kid and picked it back up as a destressor for my college days haha. This is my finished Venator-class Star Destroyer. it took me an hour or so to build and about 10 to paint and mod. I extended the medium dual-laser turrets to make it more authentic and I hand built around 40 or so smaller point-defense lasers. Some of the markings are a touch off with the red, but hey I gave it a good go I'd say!
