Hi Gamera! Thanks for the post. I am going to try and use the ones provided. It is nothing a little hot water can't fix. If that does not work then I will have to scratch or kit bash something.

On a side note I will need to correct my title as this is correctly called a c-70 Consular ship that will have the Charger upgrade as in the Clone Wars.

Now I know my first post was not really that great, just the kit parts and damaged areas, but; This post is ........... well, really not that much to either.

I have started work on the engines as that seemed to be the area that requires the most work. After some sanding and dremel work I was able to get the end parts on the main engine.

As you can see they left a lip where the two parts joined. So I cut some thin styrene strips and built the area up as close as I could. Then I used Tamiya putty to fill in the rest.

Then after sanding and puttying and sanding three or four times, it came out like this.

This picture is actually still alittle rough, I had to putty and sand one more time after this. Followed this process for all three engines, which took a little time, but I think I got it right.

Looks cool! Frankly I'm old enough I still call the ship 'the blockade runner'.

And nice work on repairing the engine. I hate dealing with resin like that, it's so brittle I'm afraid of breaking it. 

Thanks Gamera, I am that age also. This is not the Blockade Runner though. This ship is the one that gets blown up in the Phantom Menace, the first prequel. I am going to try and emulate the ones from the Clone Wars cartoon series.

This is should be cool to watch. From what I’ve read, this design was one of Ralph McQuarrie’s early concepts for the Millennium Falcon, and it was not used at that time.

Well, moving along I primed the whole ship in black.

Base coated in white, gloss coat, masking and then the red.

I am going to go back and do some chipping on the red. Good and bad thing about Vallejo paints is they are very fragile. I can use a toothpick to do the chipping and then seal it with another gloss coat.

If this is a consulor ship, where is the ambassador? 

With the way events played out in "Rogue One", the confrontation scene between Leia and Vader in "Star Wars" seems almost absurd:

Vader:  "Several transmissions were beamed to this ship by rebel spies, I want to know what happened to the plans they sent you."

Leia:  "I don't know what you're talking about.  I'm a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderaan!"

Vader:  "Don't try blowing plasma up my armored codpiece your highness, we got the license plate number of your getaway car as you skeedaddled out of Raddus' ship!!!"

Leia:  "Umm... That was somebody else...  Can I call my lawyer now?"

Sorry guys been running a little behind on this build. But it is still in progress and I am making some headway on it. I have the 4 main parts glued on and it is starting to look like something now. 

So, I am starting to work on the small fiddley bits, starting with the gun pods. They are supposed to be mounted in line with each other, but that would put the bottom guns over the landing strut doors, do I moved  them back. this is the top.

Bish, this is one of .JPG's kits that i was able to get from, of course, Starship modeler.

Wish I could point you in a direction Silentbob, but I have not seen this around for a little while now. Kind of like the blockade runner, finally had some money saved up for that one and now I can't find it. May just have to get the X-wing game version and do a repaint on it if needed.

Started to do some weathering, I think I am getting close to finishing this up.

That is one dirty bird :).  Looking good!

Well, here it is all finished. Shiny and new and put up on my shelf in the Star Wars room. At least after these pics were taken.

Yeah, I can agree with you there. I think I finished to soon and just needed something to put it on. Never really been to good at making bases though.
