U.S.S. Enterprise modification

I aquired this old AMT Enterprise about 10 years ago and it's been sitting in the shop waiting.  Waiting for a new lease on life and it has one thanks to a article posted on modeling madness web page on making something different from the kit.

As you can see it was missing the bottom half of the saucer section, a big reason why it never progressed.  Well i decided or figured out finally I could print and new lower section at work. New its going to become a different class of feferation star ship.  A destroyer class.

Oh cool, it's always fun to see kit-bashes out of this classic kit!
