Creativity Sucks (Warhammer40K tank)
Posted by Anonymous on Friday, April 2, 2004 8:21 AM
I was in a bad mood so I went out and bought a $50 Warhammer 40k Tank
a Chaos Land Raider to be specific.

Anyway, there are no pictures for the interior. There are lots of dials and buttons with no known function and what looks like a very large engine in the back. I have no clue what to paint the inside.

Any ideas.

The GW website is no help. There are lots of pictures of the outside of these tanks but not the interior. Any help would be great.

Again, the whole warhammer universe is not based on any lever of credibility or accuracy. Those models are for their tabletop wargame, and as such their paint scheme is pretty much 'anything goes'
The few interiors I've seen painted had black control panels with various colours for the buttons. Most screens were green, walls were a light gray or white, same with floors.
Just pick a colour that complements your exterior. That's what I did :)

What he said or just pick an interior color from WWII to modern tanks, it should work just as well.

You said it was a Chaos Land Raider? If that's the case and you're looking for something "authentic" (lose term with regards to fantasy of course Wink [;)]) you might consider making it dark and creepy. Anything evil and demonic looking would work perfectly for a Chaos vehicle, the more skulls and bones you can work into the design the better. Just have fun with it, there's not 'right' answer, do whatever you think looks good. Smile [:)]
