Thanks for the comments - the insignia is the Galactic Alliance varient of the New Republic following the "End" of the Empire... they are from a sheet I got off eBay a few years ago.

As for pic posting - still reading the FAQ on FSM... I see some ppl can do it w/o a hyperlink... thanks for offering.
