yes very intricate even in 1/72 I’m building one for the Star Wars GB. the instructions are well interesting. I would fit the parts take it apart paint decals weather and put back together with out breaking anything ? Are you going to use the stickers or decals?   btw it must be a lot of fun with your grandson .

   These little kits from Bandai are a great way to get the little one into the hobby. Hobby lobby has a good selection, at least mine does, and the coupon helps. If you want to step up your game the 1/72 kits are also great kits. I have enjoyed your plane wip, glad to see you moving into scifi.

I've got a few of these back when Revel had them in almost every toy isle in Washington. Prepainted and snap construction, but nicely detailed. 

They only offered Red 5, but they were easy to modify and I made up my own bits of Rogue Squadron based loosely on the books.

Just a tip Toshi, they take a wash rather well even if you don't paint them. ;)

Just for reference, modifications are easy to make. I've got Red 3, 4, 5, and 6 represented here. Still need to make up 1 and 2. This, as mentioned above, are my interpretations based on the books and my imagination.

I'm looking forward to seeing how much more Ezra has accomplished recently. ;)

Still waiting on Ezra to arrive.  This Saturday the 27th.  I did do the markings, waiting on a wash and a flat coat sealer.

Here is the completed X-Wing fighter.

Nice job on that little x-wing lots of good detailing . I didn’t like the decals on mine they gave me a tough time with the setting solutions and in 1/72nd .

Thank you sir!  Now I’ll be working on the Y-Wing with Ezra on Sunday.
