I couldnt help but getting this kit. It is a lot better the the black Aurora kit form the 60's and it did go to the bottom of the tub. I guess this is science fiction no?

Neat!

Does the Moebius logo resemble the old Aurora one or am I hallucinating again?

Yes but the plastic is a much better quality . it’s funny they shoot .45’s on board and any little bump the controll panel shorts out lol. Love the movie and the tv show.

Well, so much for my memory. I don't remember the Aurora bad plastic quality. Just the mention of the brand sure brings back magical memories of brand-spanking new kits, though.

Funny observation about the control panel shorts. Smile

I built that one about 2 years ago Nick. At the same time I built the Polar Lights re-release of the old Aurora kit.

It's MUCH better than the old kit, but not perfect. It is longer than the old Aurora kit, which was made too short to fit in the box (if I remember correctly).

If I remember I had some fit issues at the bow, but that could have been because I was putting an interior in.

I also seem to remember a small fit issue on the top of the sail.
