Had the old Viper and Raider hanging from my ceiling as a kid, with the Viper diving on the Raider.  Not a bad looking set up as I recall.  Those were the days.

I also bought the Galctica, Viper, and Cylon Raider.

Remember the Viper and Raider originally had rubber band powered "dart guns"?  Me and my friends cut off the "safety tips" from the darts, sharpened them to proper missile nose cones, and had dogfights in the yard.  Even though the Raider had two launchers versus the Viper's one, the Vipers always won!

Whatever happened to those carefree danger-laden days?

But a fun kit nevertheless, at least, it was fun for me back then, when the show was still on, and the kit came out Wink I built the Galactica, the Viper, and the Cyclon Raider, but never got to the Cylon Battlestar.

Don, will you superdetail the kit, or build it out-of-the-bag (as it were)?

For me I got the Cylon Raider, Viper and Base Star, never got the Galactica. It was bought by the time I got back as a kid.

The Moebius kit is a completely different kit, not the same molds. Could they have similar construction? Anything is possible.

I found it today! Not the most complex model, not sure you need the instructions. Anyway I can photocopy them and mail them if you should need them as well.

This tiny sheet with the 'GALACTICA' and 'PEGASUS' were the only ones in the original kit.

I don't own the newer Morbius kit but far this one the SMT detail set is worth it. Not sure they still make it though:

I actually have a copy of the original 1978 Monogram kit somewhere...

The question is finding it. Confused I'll see what I can do Don about finding her and photographing the instructions.

Don,

Check this link:

https://galaxykits.com/instructions/instruction/2547/battlestar_galactica_-_tos

These instructions are for the Moebius BSG. I believe The Moebius kit came from the Monogram kit. Anyway, If these work, you can create a login. If you are unable to login, PM me your email address, and I can send you the instructions.

Hope this helps.

At Nordicon I picked up an old Monogram Battlestar Galactica kit (original series).  It was missing the instructions and decals.  An online search found the decal image.  But I only found two sites with the instructions.  Both sites required a registration, and I was unable to register at either site (hate that captcha thing).
