Bandai 1/144 Geara Zulu

Figured I’d share a build I’ve been working on for the past three or so weeks. Pretty much burned out on building 1/35 armor models so decided to switch things up. Had a Geara Zulu from Unicorn Gundam that I snapped together two years ago and decided to give it a shot.

Found a picture of what the kit looks like snapped together with stickers applied. Credit to Dalong.net.

Here’s mine after filling in the seams, mixing paint and painting the markings on.

The white detail took a very steady hand and came out alright I suppose. It looks a lot better than the stickers. Right now the main model is pretty much done; just have the weapons and thrusters to finish as seen below.

Once I near completion I’m going to mount it on a base so it looks like its flying versus just standing on a shelf.

Did anyone wonder what a mobile suit would need a gas mask for?  Stick out tongue  OK, OK, I think the Geara Zulu is pretty cool looking!  I love all Zaku variations from the UC universe.

Gamera, give one a try, you might like it!  I did back in 1983 and have been a fan ever since, much to the consternation of the IPMS "Scale-Only Police".

“Ya ya ya, unicorn papoi!”
