Anyone buy those tiny Bandai Star Wars kits at Hobby Lobby?

They run $9.99 before 40% coupon, $6 and change after.

Several little fighters, like a pair of A-wings, and X-wing, TIE and TIE Advanced, couple others. I grabbed Darth Vader's TIE fighter and found a decal set for it on eBay. I'm not sure if they are a constant scale or just box scale though.

Anyone else got any information on these kits?

I don't want to spend money on the X-wing or A-wings if they are vastly different in scale.

I think the fighters, AT-ST, and Snowdpeeders are all 1/144, the Falcon is 1/350, and the Blockade runner might be 1/1000 scale.

I built the 1/144 X-Wing back in December. Built mine as Red Leader. It’s a sweet little kit. I have picked up the Y-Wing/X-Wing pair, and the TIE/Vader TIE set in 1/144... keep hoping that they’ll issue the TIE as a single to get Vader’s “attack formation”. All look to be a constant scale and not “box scale” like the original MPC kits were. And now to pick up the 1/144 Millennium Falcon to round them out...

Thanks, I was mainly thinking about the small boxed kits. Yes, I saw the Falcon/Blockade Runner, and another larger boxed set as well.

They've nicely labeled the 1/72 scale and the 1/350 and 1/1000 kits, but the tiny boxed ones were unlabeled.

Well, I'll use this week's coupon on one again.

Ah ok... the larger ships in those small boxes do indeed seem to be more of a box scale series. I’ve seen the star destroyer, super star destroyer, blockade runner, Falcon, and Death Star all in various smaller scales in those boxes. But hey, for those prices at 40% off, why not get ‘em anyways?

I need one of those tiny Falcons so I can pretend to be that giant asteroid-dwelling worm thing from 'The Empire Strikes Back'...

Yes, I checked that site, but some of the kits in question (those small boxes), do not have a scale listed. The AT-M6 is in the same sized box as the TIEs, but really can't be a commo scale.

Now the X-Wing is sold alone in a small box, dual boxed with a 1/72 X-Wing and dual boxed with what I think is a 1/144 Y-Wing. I assume the little X-Wing is the same plastic in all three boxes.

I bought the X-Wing & Y-Wing two kit set for $15.99 before coupon today. Hopefully they will be in scale with the TIE advanced and TIE.

The little X-Wing sold solo and with the little Y-Wing are the same sprues. I have both and compared them. And the TIE/Advanced TIE are supposed to be the same scale as well. The box says 1/144 on there as it did on the Rebel ships. I picked those up as well, but how can you really compare the scale?
