That photo really puts the size of the kit into perspective.
plasticjunkieThis is like having a song stuck in one's head, you turn the radio on and wham it's playing! I was remembering Raquel Welch in this movie and One Million Years BC both from 1966.
Indeed, the image of Miss Welch in that form-fitting white bodysuit lingers in the memory all these years later! Saw the movie in its original release at a friend's birthday party -- as an impressionable ten-year-old -- and it left quite an impression.
Excellent build, BTW. Always loved the lines of the movie's sub, and actually scratch-built a version of it in the late '70s. Love your version!

What a freaking coincidence! I was just thinking about the movie yesterday and here is a post on it. This is like having a song stuck in one's head, you turn the radio on and wham it's playing! I was remembering Raquel Welch in this movie and One Million Years BC both from 1966.
Too many models to build, not enough time in a lifetime!!
That's beautiful- great tribute to a really neat SF craft!

Well;
Gotta say, Beautiful. problem for me. They are expensive enough I cannot seem to fit them in Budget wise. Life keeps interefering!
And here it is with the other Harper Goff Creation...My 1/77 Nautilus build.
I recently completed this 1/32 Moebius Fantastic Voyage Proteus from Fantastic Voyage for Doug Drexler.
The model was built, per his request, without Lights or figures.
It was air brushed with Tamiya Paints, With the white being toned down a little to avoid a pure white.
I have built a number of these, including the Crows Nest 1/48 version with lights, figures ETC...
I still need to get one for myself again.
