Stephen: She's about 80mm/3.25inches tall. Which is good, since the normal 90mm figure is figured around someone 6ft/183cm tall. And Alita here is about 5'1/155cm tall. I didn't do the math but it ought to work out somewhere near the right range.
I just ordered a set of eyeball decals from Archer Fine Transfers so big thanks Ikar for suggesting it.
And thanks Amplighter for the advice on the filigee work. As soon as I can get to art store, it's a mess due to the whole Corona-chan situation I'm going to look around for some stuff to use to replicate it.

BTW: I grabbed some photos from the art book for those who haven't seen the movie. They show more of the translucent china look of the 'skin'. And there is no way in heck I'm going to try to paint the filligee detail. Amplighter had a good idea there- if I can find some detail I might try to transfer it to a decal to apply.

I tell ya. I think I am getting too old to do eyes. I'd probably try finding decals. I marvel at those that are able to pull off convincing eyes.

That's a great idea Ikar, I've seen them around too. I think it may be more a thing about shading though. I dunno. I'm going to fiddle with it and hope maybe I can get it right. If I still can't make any progress I'll give the eye decals a whirl.

I remember there was a company htat made all sorts of decals for figures from uniform markings to a figure's eyes. I just can't quite remember who did them.
It's funny, I was more worried about the arms looking right so I concentrated on them instead of the face. A friend gave me some good advice on the eyes so I'm going to go back and redo them. The whole big anime eyes is kinda confusing me on getting them 'right'. So I'm going to go back and tinker with them a little. No idea when I'll get to it or when they'll be done. I'll see about posting the revised photos here.

Amplighter: Thanks! Can I find the Looking Glass mirror spray paint at an art store? I'm going to give it a look. The actual arm pattern is a rose with vines around it, sorry my fault that it's not clear, I shouldn't try taking photos off the TV. The arm is only about two mm thick and 7mm long- I'm not sure I can pull that off. If I can find a pre-printed pattern I might be able to transfer it to the sheet though.

And btw the jeans were probably the simplest thing here. I just painted them with US Navy WWII intermediate blue and then applied a heavy wash of US Navy topside dark blue when dry.
@Gamera You excel in the weathering/fading/detailing of the jeans and shirt. As for the opalescence looking skin, try shimmer clear "Looking Glass mirror spray paint" even if you don't spray it on the arms, spray into a bowl then use a fine brush to apply. Also just as an added feature, you can find thin acetate sheets at office depot where as you can print the etching then cut the arm section then apply on the arm like fish scales as seen in the second image.

It's a 90mm resin garage kit figure of the main character from the 2019 live-action movie Alita: Battle Angel. No kit as I know exists of the character, this is an illegal garage kit from China - and yeah I ordered her months before Corana-chan made her debut.
It's a really good kit, sharp clean molding and the face is an excellent reproduction of the CGI massaged version of actress Rosa Salazar. Only real problem I had was reproducing the cool translucent procelain look on the arms and the blue tinged 'underground' look. I think it came out alright if not perfect.
