Fotofrank;

      The challenge here is simple. Mostly once you build one is that working with P.E. will be easier. Remember paper is flat. You have to make all types of shapes with it. I recommend them for both the fun It can re-inject to the hobby and the skills you pick up. That way you can work any kind of P.E. in the world!

 Also if you or someone you know is into ships they have between the four major publishers , at least 107 ship models. Mixed with W.W.-1 and W.W.-2 is an unbelievable selection of commercial ships of all types!

       My " Conti Belgica" in paper is bigger and more detailed, and, was cheaper to buy than REVELL of GERMANY'S 1/700 container ship. Plus, they gave you the options of buying more containers and really loading her up!

     Don't let the idea of most being waterline models disappoint you. Some of them are full hull. That Said, many of the 1/200 ships are full hull ! They even have Full Harbor kits ,Yes, Dios, with even as many as seven vessels in them plus all the shore work!

I think about doing one of those paper models just for the experience.

I think it would be fun.

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...
